Introducing Assistive Devices
It's a series which sets out to break the norm, both in terms of creating diversity on screen and showing just what low budget film making is capable of.
Shot in just six days around Greenland Dock in Suerrey Quays, London, Assistive Devices tells to story of the unlikely friendship between a hard nosed disability rights advocate and her young, well meaning, but often misinformed PA. For both women, this is a relationship which hones their character, sharpens their skills, and forces them to be better people than they otherwise would have been.
Written and produced by Athena Stevens. Directed by Will Hutchinson.
